Córdoba opened its Center for Regional Instrumental Music on 30 December 1931. The center preserved instruments and musical compositions unique to the region. Students received training in traditional playing styles. Concerts and cultural events promoted community involvement. Its founding strengthened preservation of central Argentina’s musical traditions.
