The Mendoza School of Classical Music opened on 11 August 1936. The school offered instruction in piano, violin, voice, and orchestral instruments. Students performed in recitals that strengthened the region’s cultural life. Faculty included musicians who contributed to the development of western Argentina’s music scene. The school also collaborated with local cultural institutions on concerts and festivals. Its founding significantly expanded musical education in the province.
