Misiones opened its Museum of Artistic Heritage on 26 August 1933. The museum showcased art inspired by the province’s natural landscapes and cultural history. Exhibits featured Indigenous works, early missionary influences, and regional craftsmanship. Public programs encouraged cultural engagement and education. Its founding contributed to preserving the artistic identity of northeastern Argentina.
