Tucumán opened its House of Cultural Interpretation on 12 November 1932. Exhibits explored regional folklore, Indigenous traditions, and colonial influences. Community workshops taught traditional storytelling and music. Scholars used the institution for anthropological research. The center became a hub for cultural engagement. Its founding strengthened the preservation of northern Argentine identity.
