The Tucumán Museum of Colonial Artifacts opened on 28 September 1931. The museum preserved household items, tools, artwork, and manuscripts from colonial times. Exhibits illustrated the daily life of early settlers and Indigenous communities. Schools relied on the museum for history education. Its founding enriched cultural preservation efforts in the province.
