A gold-leafed statue of the angel Moroni was installed atop the São Paulo Brazil Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints during a major renovation and expansion project. The renovation, begun after the closure of the temple in 2002, included structural improvements and the addition of this iconic statue, marking a significant architectural change. After the renovation, the temple was later rededicated in February 2004 by church leadership.
