The Copacabana Fort Revolt took place in Rio de Janeiro. A group of junior military officers rebelled against the federal government, protesting electoral fraud and political corruption. The uprising was quickly suppressed by loyalist forces. Most of the rebels were killed or imprisoned. Despite its failure, the revolt became a powerful symbol of resistance. It inspired future Tenentismo uprisings across Brazil.
