Brazil enacted Law No. 12,514. The law addressed contributions (fees) owed to professional councils in general. It also amended Article 4 of Law No. 6,932/1981, which deals with medical residency activities. This mattered for professional regulation because it clarified funding rules for councils and updated part of the residency framework.
