On July 17, 2007, TAM Airlines Flight 3054 crashed at Congonhas Airport in São Paulo, Brazil. The Airbus A320 overran the runway during landing and collided with a fuel warehouse. All 187 passengers and crew on board were killed, along with 12 people on the ground. The accident became the deadliest aviation disaster in Brazilian history.
