Brazil issued Decree-Law No. 9,688, amending provisions of Decree-Law No. 7,729 (12 July 1945). The decree-law changed and added clauses to Article 9 of the 1945 law, which regulated advanced training, specialization, study trips, and work missions abroad for federal civil servants. By updating these rules, the government adjusted how public employees could be authorized and supported for professional development and official missions overseas.
